what a day

My little guy is sick.....still. After being told it was just a cold by the on call doc on Sunday I decided to try again at his regular ped.  I had to fight to get an appt, the nurse didn't think he needed to be seen.  My little guy has pneumonia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So it was a long day b/c even though he is now on antibiotics he got worse b/c they hadn't kicked in yet.  I did not eat well, I am a stress eater.  Ugh. 

I feel for you. Sure hope the meds kick in and he's turning around and feeling better.

DD had that as a little kid, so sad, so sick. I felt so awful when I found out it wasn't a cold or bronchitis.  Take good care of him. Keep the fluids going in My kids were especially fond of popsicles.

Sorry to hear your little guy is feeling so bad!  Hope the antibiotics kick in soon and he's on the mend even sooner!   Take care of yourself too!  You need to stay healthy for him!!!  

oh, man, one thing when dr's mess up with us, but DON"T mess with my babies.... hope today is better for you. 

Thanks ladies.  Still no improvement.........looks like another long day.  I feel bad for my 5 year old who just wants some attention and is bored.  Poor kid, there's not enough of me to go around sometimes.

good for you for staying on top of things. you're a good mommy. now is a great time for extra cuddle time and kisses.

Hope he's better soon.  I know I've always said that I would rather be sick 1000 times than have my kiddos sick once.  Hope he's better soon.
