I"M waiting Ruth??

how did it go?

Sorry I didn't have time to update when I got home.  I needed to go do my paperwork as it looks like I may have to take DD to ER when she gets home from her field hockey game (she got a stick to the wrist and her hand is still feeling numb.......luckily it's not her pitching arm!!)

ANYWAYS............not sure what is going on.  Dr L is going to do an exploratory lap in the next couple of weeks (I should get a date tomorrow).  He's not sure what he'll find in there, if anything.  If there's anything he can fix (adhesions, small hernia, etc) he will.  Otherwise, I'll just have to see what happens.  I'm just glad that Dr L is willing to do this for me as he's already been "in there" once and knows what I look like.  I KNOW I'm in good hands with Dr L!!!  I'm not looking forward to another surgery, but this recovery should be pretty quick (should be out of work less than a week) and if it gets rid of the pain, it will be WELL worth it!

So............there you have it!

BTW.........I was amazed at all the new staff in the office!  They are growing by leaps and bounds!  WOW!!!!!!!!  I'm happy for them!!!!!

I hope he was able to ease your mind.  I"m sure he will do the best for you. Let me know what is going on.  and good luck to Lauren.

After nearly 3 hours in the ER/First Care, her wrist is NOT broken.........just a contusion.  She has to wear a brace, ice, elevate, and take ibruprofen for a couple of days!  She's young...she'll be fine!!  

And, yes, Dr L DID ease my mind a bit.  I still worry about any surgery, but I really want the pain gone and I've run out of other options to figure out what is causing this!

That is WAY too much excitement for one day.  I'm sorry that you have to have another surgery, but I sure hope it fixes your pain. 

Glad to hear that Dr L is going to try to get rid of the pain for you. I hope he can find the cause.  sorry to hear about your DD.  Glad it was nothing serious.
