Check In

I am averaging 7-10 pounds per week weight loss.  I am happy about that but i am sure things will slow down at some point but until then I am going to ride that wave.  I am still trying to get in all of my water. I'm taking in half of what I need. It has been a challenge for me. Monday will be 6 weeks out, time seems to fly.  For the past 12 weeks I have had to go to the hospital twice a week for Iron infusions. My last ferratin level was 6.67....the range is 11 to 300. I have a ways to go. I am getting tired of being a human pin cushion lol.  Next week will be the end of round three of the treatments and I hope my numbers go up.  I don't want to have anymore IV's but my pcp told me there really isn't any other options.  Iron pills don't absorb at all for me and the IV's are the only way for my body to absorb iron.  I hope I don't have to have the infusions all winter, its a hassle having to schedule my life around them.  Otherwise...everything else is going great. I am wearing jeans that I have not been able to wear in forever.  I'm happy about that. I have a whole closet full of jeans of various sizes.  I cannot wait to get into them.  Well just checking in. I wont make this any longer than it is.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Sorry you are having to be a human pin cushion, but at least there IS something they can do for you to bring your numbers up!  I'm sure you'll be feeling better once your numbers are where they are supposed to be!
