Only 4 months out and two positive epts...doctors appointment Tuesday to confirm

had gastric bypass June 15th. I have lost about 80 pounds. I was two days late for my period and took two pregnancy tests (ept digital- the one that says pregnant or not pregant) and both positive. Took the first one yesterday and one this am....

I am super excited about this as this was the reason had gastric bypass, to be healthy to have children.

Anyone have any advice on how to keep me and baby healthy?

I called my nut. this morning, waiting for her to call me back....but really on the ball with this and hoping everything is alright.

Congrats!  You may want to post on the Pregnancy and WLS board.  I know our program recommends that you wait 18 months after surgery.

ours does too, but sometimes miracles happen and we are greatful!

Congratulations!!!  WE have had  a  few  that have had babies on this board.   They did great!!!  She did  follow the nuts recommendations and  did  wonderful.     I am so happy for you!!!!

OMG I'm so happy for you!  A little sooner than you expected, but it's wonderful news!  I'm sure Jackie and Megan will be able to help you keep you and the little one healthy.  Keep us updated!

 Wow congrats!!  That is crazy, I am right behind you, almost 4 months out and down 80 lbs and I actually recently had a scare.  I on the other hand was terrified thinking I could possibly be pregnant.  I am so terrified of gaining ANY weight!  Plus I just dont think my body could sustain a pregnancy right now.  But again if that is what you guys were hoping for, congrats!!
