Christmas shopping

I know we all have financial worries, but, how much fun is xmas?  and SHOPPING???? yooohooo...  so tomorrow I meet up with a friend and go to Augusta to start on some xmas shopping, although its going to be a "BIG GIFT" year, which means, less gifts under the tree.  my kids all want family get away gifts (ski lessons/rental, and train/boston/aquarium/children's museum) gifts  so, i pretty much need to work on the SOCKS which for as old as my kids are, they refuse to let go of.  they say its the best part of xmas. (well besides the food mama cooks).  I also plan on trying to find a pair of jeans and cute flannel pj's fo next weekend.  we are going up to SUnday River for the wife carrying contest, LOTS of all activities, we are staying with our neighbors, who have a camp up there (GORGEOUS) and meeting up with my best High school friend (WHO also has a log cabin up there.  Damn, i married the wrong guy??  we are taking 3 golf carts up there (which are all decorated: one cow, one police, and one FIre bomb).  planning on bbq, crockpot, lots of fun filled activities.  then Sunday, they are having a neighborhoom party.  wow,  Dieting wont' be easy, but what the hell, I LOVE MY friends, and my life and I love having fun.  I will add a few pictures.  any of you start your xmas shopping yet??  any ideas on what your getting your parents?  i'm at a loss for them. (their not healthy, dont' go out,, love food)????

Love shopping, when I have money .  Hopefully I'll be able to make some with the photo. business so my kids can have a decent Xmas.  SO hard with kids.

 I have started picking up a few things here and there.  I know, my kids are all pretty much grown too, but I just love Christmas and my DH loves it even more!  Sounds like fun next weekend, we are heading up to Lincoln with the camper to go moose hunting.  This is something very new and unusual for me...  but I'm looking forward to it.  Beats work!

You are da bomb!   Sounds like you will have SOOO much fun!   I haven't even STARTED thinking about Christmas shopping!!!!!  I think it's gonna be a "big ticket" item kinda Christmas around here too!  It gets really hard buying for the kids!  They all want computers........go figure, right?

well i am not thinking about x-mas yet as i just got my frist home and trying to redo it as it needed a face lift lol... but the x-mas shop has a few things i like but will be for the new home if i have money left over after doing the face lift lol.. well have a good time this week i will be thinking of you as i am working on the home ....
