I was at a stand still for the last month.  Had some not spectacular - not horrible habits just not great sneaking in.  So I started yesterday on the 5 day pouch test.  I broke the plateau!!!! YIPPPEEEE!!!!!  One-derland here I come.

Very cool!  Every few weeks I go back to basics for a day. Just to give my body something different.

that is awesome,  good for you.  so much talk this week has been about our Brains,  and getting back into habits, they might start off slow, but BANG, before you know it, you can see yourself going right back into your old habits.  WHO is going to invent brain surgery??

I've been struggling bigtime and this is REALLY helping.  I'll be honest...I forgot how much the liquid diet SUCKED but almost done with that after tonight.  Tomorrow onto the soft proteins.  I'll have to remember this the next time I spend a whole month beating myself up over slipping (pork rinds did it to me...I reasoned they had protein - had them 3 or 4 times and it got me into the munchies again)..EVIL PORK RINDS!!  They are now banished from the house.

Breakfast - coffee with splenda and sf creamer or skim milk (20 oz)
Carnation instant breakfast NSA with skim milk and some protein powder - I do this instead of a protein shake (10 oz)
Lite and Fit Yogurt with protein powder
SPecial k20 protein water (20 oz)
Supper will probably be cream of potato soup (skim, bouillion cause I don't have any chicken soup unjury, and baked potato)
After supper sf fudgesicle and some crystal light ice tea (20 oz)

This is basically what I did on the pre surgery diet.  Maybe adding another Carnation NSA in the evening - when I have the worst munchies.

Yesterday I was feeling like crap with a cold and I made sf jello - didn't let it harden just drank it warm - felt great on my throat and I was full most of the evening after.  I also pinged myself out yesterday on coffee trying to stay awake (6 8 oz cups)...didn't do that again today.
