Metallic Taste in mouth???

Does anyone else get a metallic taste on their tongue sometimes? I'ts never really been something I've noticed before but have had it happen every once in awhile since surgery, often after I eat.

Anyone got anything similar or ideas why?

Are you on any meds for anything? I was was on antibiotics after my PS infection and it made me have a real bad metallic taste in my mouth.  Never noticed it due to WLS though. But you never know!

I'm on Lexapro but otherwise nothing. I used to be on a lot more meds and never noticed it, i get it alot now especially after I eat something. I have heard other people say it might be "ketosis'? Not really sure what they mean....

Yes, I was thinking ketosis as well..  Ketosis is when you body is burning stored fat.  it can make your breath smell sweet, but it could taste metallic to you.

I was thinking ketosis too.......usually gives you bad breath too (seems like even breath mints won't help at times).  Not sure what else it could be if you're not on any other meds.....

I have been having it too expecially the past two weeks.  It is driving me carzy.  I feel I am snacking more trying to get rid of it.  I can only hope it's my body burning fat.  LOL
