I'm sure most of you cruise the RNY board so this won't be news to you...BUT!!!!!!!!!    Some of the recipes on that board are AWESOME!

Tonight, I modified PK and Nic's recipe for their banana protein bread and turned it into Zucchini protein bread!  I used unflavored protein powder, zucchini instead of bananas and added some slivered almonds!!!!!!!!  YUMMY!!!!!!!!   I got 15 slices that are WAY filling!!  Each slice comes to about 75 calories and about 9g of protein!!!!!!  Light, fluffy, YUMMY!!!!!   Here's the link for the original recipe, if you are interested:  www.obesityhelp.com/forums/rny/4026156/PKs-Banana-Bread-with -pics-stats-and-a-plot-twist/

Next, I tried CleopatraNic's newest protein brownie recipe!   STICKY batter, as she states in her post but!!!!!!  WELL worth the mess I made!  These are VERY brownie-like and taste great!  I overcooked mine a little bit so they are a little dry, but still have a great taste!  With my ingredients, (I got 10 brownies out of the batch I made) each brownie is about 90 cals and 12g of protein!!!!!!!  How can you beat those stats for sweet, chocolatey YUMMIINNNEEESSS?!?!?!?!?   Here's the link for the brownies, if you are interested:   www.obesityhelp.com/forums/rny/4029083/Protein-brownies-no-m eringue-no-things-HAPPY-NOW-PAM-recipe/

I've got deserts for a month now!!!!!!!!!   I'M IN HEAVEN!!!!!!

Hope you try them and like them!
Have a great evening!!!!!!

I made some peanut butter protein no bake cookies and added almonds that I toasted in the oven.  Not bad,  I modified my peanut butter no bake cookie recipe, basically I just used oats, protein powder and almonds, then I mixed up better n peanut butter and some vanille sugar free syrup I bought at wally world.  I heated it through then poured it over the oat mixture and dropped onto wax paper.  My DH actually like them.

hay thanks for sharing! I wrote the recipes down for use down the road.  All of my cook books are going to be obsolete for me. the banana bread is a great quick bread base, if its as good as you say.  pumkin would be great or apple
