Band Frustrations
Oy, the biscuits. Best choice I've made...no. Worst choice....no. My point with saying I ate them is that it is a food that is labeled as one that would normally cause issues and get stuck and I had absolutely no trouble at all.
Anyway.......still having trouble and ended up getting pretty sick tonight so I am giving it through the week and if still having trouble will get an unfill Monday.

Not trying to scold you.. Some people don't really know. I tried to view the Lap Band Nutritional guide on MMC's website but nothing happens. I can view the Gastric Bypass one. But I think the biscuit, might be too gummy like Cheryl says. and some people just can't tolerate hamburger. I wouldn't request an unfill just quite yet. Try different things. I would def do the unfill if you absolutely can't get anything to pass through at all. I know Protein shakes are very boring and I got sick of them so quickly.
you've been sick alot in the last few days, why don't you try liquids & soft foods tomorrow, give your band a rest. it might be a new start for you. take your time, I"ve been here a few times I sent 5 days and couldnt' even take in water, had to sleep sitting, had reflux at night, i lost 11 lbs. get this, when I went in for an unfil, I gainned 7 lbs in one day and I hardly had anything, bu****er and soup, jello. so kathy is right, as long as you getting in something, don't rush BUT, be careful. you'll know by monday if you need to go. good luck to you, i'll send you my phone number if you want to talk.
