November 16th with Dr. Toder!  I am so excited that I doubt I will sleep tonight!  Now what do I do?  How do I make this time go faster?

WWOOO HOOO!  Yay for you!! Check and see if they would consider putting you on a cancellation list?  Maybe that would get you closer!! Wouldn't hurt to ask!

I already did that.  I told her that I don't work so I don't need advance notice to be ready.  So, yes, I am on the cancellation list.  Thank you so much for suggesting it!

Congrats on your date!  Just start by preparing yourself.....mentally and physically, for this journey!   Time will fly once you are able to look back on it!  Going through it though.........seems like it takes forever!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on your surgery date. Ruth was right- use this time to mentally and physically get ready.  I also did the "nesting" thing before surgery. I cleaned, organized and did all the lifting things that I wouldn't be able to do until Dr. Toder cleared me after surgery. My house was ready for winter prior to my Oct 6 surgery, because I knew taking down the lawn furniture, canvas awning and such were not allowed afterwards for several weeks.

It will be here quick enough.

Bev, I am so happy for you.  Trust me, the time will fly!  Pretty soon you'll be complaining about the liquid diet, for me that was the toughest part.  Congrats!

Congratulations!  Trust me, the time will fly.  Definately prepare yourself. Busy yourself with getting stuff ready.  The busier you are the better.  It will make the time fly much faster.

Good for you Bev.  practice sipping, and trying foods you will buy, 1/2 the stuff I bought I still have in the cupboards.  make some protein shakes, experiment...

Wow  Bev  WTG  it wont be long now.   the countdown begins.

Have a f few of the  favorite meals that you  like.    I had one every couple of weeks.   Not that i over did but i knew it would be awhile before i could enjoy  eating  them again.  Dont do the last supper thing as  eventually you will be able to  eat your favs but it will  take a while.

I still have  trouble with  steak.  It has to be real tender  so i can chew it properly  and I love steak.
But i can eat lobster now  so i am not lacking any food that i loved.  But i still am not  physically  hungry yet.  yes i do get head hunger but that is   another    story.  I have   learned to control that  most of the time.   I still do protein shakes.  It   helps  give me the sweet i want sometimes and  sticks with me longer than cereal.

Take care
