That went fast!

I cannot believe that I am going for my 1 month post op visit with Nut and surgeon on Wednesday.  I healed up nicely. I've only had 3 not so good moments since surgery where something didnt settle well and up it came.  The hardest thing for me is sipping when I am really thirsty and want to drink faster.  I've had some experience with drinking too fast and feeling that uncomfortable pressure.  I would say the worst day for me was the day after my surgery when I had all that gas trapped. That was very painful.  I am anxious to see how how much more I have lost since my last weigh in a week ago. At that point it was 27 pounds lost since surgery.  Well that is about it. Just thought I would share my experience since I was not online immediately following surgery.  By the way.......I put on a pair of jeans that I have not been able to wear in over a year.  They fit!!!! NICE!

It's amazing how time flies!  I'm so happy that you are doing so well!  Great job with your weight loss!  I know you had a hard time leading up to your surgery and I'm SOO happy that you are doing well now!  Congrats!

Thats awesome.  Yes, time does seem to go by fast.  Maybe because we are all getting OLD.  LOL.  As far as drinking fast.  I am now six months out and can drink much faster.  I can now take two or three swallows at the same time.  I asked my Nut and she said I won't stretch my pouch if it doesn't hurt, but it did scare me a little.  I try not to do it but sometimes I am just too thirsty and forget.
