SUNday...........whatchya doing/eating?

Good morning all!
Should be a quiet day around here.  We are heading down to my mom and dad's for lunch to celebrate DS's 12th birthday (9-11)!  I can't believe my BABY is 12 now!  He'll be a teenager before I know it!!!  YIKES!!!!!!!!

So, what are you doing and eating today? 

B:  2c ff milk, Jupiter sammie! (I finally had time to make more yesterday!!)
S:  none due to late breakfast
L:  I think mom is making a turkey breast, potatoes, carrots, peas, and dressing (I'll probably sample a little of all of it) AND, an ice cream birthday cake (I'll have a few bites! YUM!)
S:  I think I'll still be full from lunch!
D:  ? 
S:  maybe some Only 8, depends how I'm feeling

Still no running for me, per doc's orders, but I may try to get a walk in later or maybe some Nordic walking...........who knows?

Hope you are finding this post helpful!  I know it's helped me get back on track as I've lost 4 of the 6 pounds I had regained since I started being more accountable!

great job getting back on track Ruth, I always knew you would be the one to keep at it and be successful.  I on the other hand, have been terrrible, I was going to start my "Diet" on Thurs after our company of 2 weeks left, but I was so tired and talked myself into waiting till monday.  so tomorrow I will start in and join in your daily accountability post.  "I" on the other hand have gainned 7 lbs. and sooooo feel it, I feel like a pile of crap.  my house is back in order now, and have bought a few things to start on my DD's wedding scrap book,  I do need to go to Michael's in Portland for some pretty paper, (not much of a choice at walmart).  I also got 2 plastic tubs that I plan on cleaning our my hope chest, with all my kids, younger years stuff, reportcards, special baby outfits, pictures, hospital bracelets and making them each their own "Memory" box.  those are my next projects along with raking leaves soon.  DH and I are leaving on Wed-Fri for a little get away in Naples, we rented a cabin on the water "ALONE" and plan on just relaxing.  (probably not a good time to start a diet)  Damn, always an excuse!!!!  also update on my band:  I wish I had more control with my choices, I"ve never been good at that and exercise, but my band is still working and still has good restriction.  If I chose to eat carbs ie: pasta, sandwich?? I go back to eat again in an hour or 2.  If I choose whole protein ie: chicken, beef I last longer.  I have days where I feel I should go back and get a fill, but, If I eat the right way, I don't need one.  and I don't want to have problems taking my pills again like last time.  so I just need to be "In Control"... so, enough about me.  I'll be back tomorrow.

also, wanted to say Hi to Caribou, nice hearing from you and great job on your weight loss.  good luck to everyone with their surgeries, health problems and weight loss.

Hi back to you Cheryl.  Thank you for mentioning me.

I've missed reading your posts and I'm going back a bit and catching up with you.

I'm sorry you've gained a bit but with all you've been going through I certainly can understand how it could happen.  My weight varies...I'm usually at 130 but my weight can go up to 138 on occasion.  It'll go up a  couple of pounds during stressfull periods in my life.  And once a month when my Aunt comes to visit...well that's when it'll be at or near 138.  I just work extra hard and try to be patient because I know I have the ability to get my weight back to 130.  You can do it also.  Be patient with yourself and know that we all have setbacks.  The important thing is you have the tool and the mindset to get yourself to the weight and health at which you want to be.

Not feeling great again today, it's that TOM and it really kicks my butt!

B: blueberry "pancakes" w/no calorie syrup
    CC milk
L: ? maybe a cheese stick and some fruit
S: ?
D: chili

Not great planning today, just don't feel up to it.  Didn't go on the toy run because of TOM, I am bleeding so heavy I didn't want to deal with it away from home.
