Age 55 and Sagging Skin?

Hello,
I'm 55 and awaiting gastric bypass. I weight 310 and have been heavy for 30 years. I'm wondering if this will cause major skin sagging?  I don't mind if my body sags, but I really dread my face sagging!  Sounds funny, but it is my only real worry!
Thanks for any advice you would care to share.

i dont think my face sags too much and i am older than you  but it is all in the genes.

look at your mom and grandmoms and  that will tell you!!!  You can always save your money for  a face lift if it is that imporantant to you.

Thank you so much!  And no, your face doesn't sag at all.  That gives me hope!  My Mom has always been really thin and my grandparents died so young on both sides so I'm in the dark, but I guess it isn't all that important.  I'm determined to lose the weight and I will remember that it doesn't have to lead to a major face fall!  :)

Blessings to you!

No, your face does not sag and I'm holding onto that. My grandparents died really young and my Mom has always been slim, so I don't know what to expect. I'm just scared, but I'm determined. It is time!  Thank you for the encouragement!

I'm only 44 and my arms, thighs, and tummy sag pretty good.  My face and neck...eehh..not as bad.  Like Patty said....a lot of it is in our genes!  Good luck!

(I think Dr L is "da bomb"!  Hope you like him!)

I'm 53 and don't have a problem with saggy facial skin. Arms, thighs, tummy- that's another story but clothing covers them up.

It will all work out as it is supposed to. This is scary, but the alternative is even scarier. I'm on tons of medications, have had lots of surgeries and medical problems, and I just want to be healthy again!

Thanks for your support!

If you are doing it for looks, who knows you might have saggy skin. I do every where BUT if you are doing it for health reasons, have surgery then deal with the saggy skin later if need be.
