I just found Bob's Red Mills TVP for $2.99 at Reny's. I've never tried it before, but figured it was pretty inexpensive what the heck....not sure what to use it in though. I know Jupiter on the RNY forum uses it all the time in different things. I will have to experiment I guess.

I bought some too, haven't used it yet. Nik from the RNY board uses it to double ground meat in recipes like chili.

20 pounds lost during two week pre-op diet.

I've used it as filler for meatballs, meatloaf, added it to yogurt for some crunch........I even tried "breading" some chicken with it......that was kinda odd....but, what the heck! Have fun experimenting!
