What's the website where the blooming onion is??

Here's the scoop on the carbquik bloomin onion!  It's BLOOMIN ugly!  haha!   It tastes pretty good, but the carbquik didn't stick to the petals like I would have liked it to!  It all kinda ran to the bottom of the dish!  Still tastes pretty good though!

ok, thanks for being our tester!! LOL  I will try it with the Fiber one and let you know how that works.

I've tried the hungry girl recipe and it wasn't my fav...that's why I thot I'd try it with the carbquik.  I like the taste of the carbquik one better..........NOW....I just have to figure out how to get it to STICK to the onion!!!!!!!

Did you spray the onion with cooking spray before and after dredging it with the carbquik?  I wonder if water would be better?

I soaked the onion like the hungry girl website said to and then just sprayed my baking dish with Pam.  I even got my hands "dirty" by spreading the carbquik mixture between each onion petal...but it STILL all ran off!  Oh well......fewer calories this way as half the carbquik I used...I threw away!  haha!  STILL GUD though!!!!!!!!
