Good morning everyone!  Hope the rain isn't putting too much of a damper on everyone's plans!  We had all kinds of things planned for today, but everything has been cancelled!  Oh well!  So.........I suppose I'll either do a bunch of cooking (carbquik pancakes, muffins, mini-quiches, stuff like that) or maybe we'll try to see what the weather is doing in NH and take a hike out there?  Who knows?  Anyways...........enjoy your day.....whatever it holds!!!!!!!!!

No real plan with food for today, since I'm not working, but we'll see how this goes..

B:  2c ff milk
S:  1 tsp chocolate chips, light pringles
L:  bocca burger on low carb pita with tomato, ketchup, light mayo
S:  fage with blueberries
D: scallops with veggies
S:  a few french fries and a dixie carb counters banana nut muffin!  NOM NOM!!!!!

Guess I'll have to come back later and edit!  I have NO idea!  haha
I WAS kinda short on water yesterday, so I'm gonna have to make up for that today!

Enjoy your Saturday!
Ruth

mini quiches sound so great do you have a recipe to share? This is my first day as a member, 11 mos postop, 90 # off, and stuck ,I always have probs with what to have for breakfast. A new one I discovered was soy sausage, but mini quiches sound like a great thing to bake on weekends and take to work on weekdays.

The mini quiches are variations of eggface's "bites"....she has TONS of recipes...they are yummy, freeze well, and packed with protein!!!

Here's the link for her pizza bites

The ones I made last weekend.............I used egg beaters, chopped up chicken, mushrooms, lf cheddar cheese and some spices..........YUMMY!

My meal plan looks just like yours, only instead of milk I had coffee...  I'm not so good at planning on the weekends, but I have more time to be cautious about what I put in my mouth...

Hope you get to do something out of doors today!

I hope to go grocery shopping and do some cooking also.

Well I was supposed to be hosting a BBQ for a few of my kiddos friends but that isn't going to be happening.  I think we will have a pizza party instead.  Not sure of what today holds food wise yet.  I have a real hard time with carbs lately. They make me feel like laying down and napping as well as a bit nauseous.   I have been trying to do limit the type of carb each day to see if it is a gluten, corn, or sugar issue.  I haven't been able to figure it out but really felt like crap after a snack of naturally more peanut butter and wheat thins.  So I am thinking it may be the wheat or gluten as I do fine with ****tail sauce which has more "sugar".  It all a guessing game right now.

I didn't end up doing too good... after my egg and cheese for breakfast, I had some leftover thin crust hamburger pizza (very thin crust, made it homemade) and then four chicken wings for dinner.  I'm off to have a protein shake now, my pouch is still not impressed with me (wonder why...)
