do you think my feet will lose weight too?

Hi!
My name is Kathy and I just started this process July 20th.  I have done all but my endoscopy for tests at this point, and I have no idea how long this process will take to get to a surgery date but I am eager to have it done!
I have a stupid question!
I have had problems with my legs/feet swelling for YEARS, literally....YEARS....
and I haven't been able to buy shoes at a normal store in....forever!
(I buy them online from a diabetic shoe company in the UK)
So my stupid question is:  after gastric bypass will my feet lose weight too?
Like:  is there a chance that I could wear a wide with instead of a 5E that you can't even buy in a store by the time this is over?
That would be SO COOL!

Congrats on starting your journey!  It's pretty likely that you will lose some shoe sizes, but not everyone does.  I went from a 9.5wide down to an 8.5...regular width.  It's pretty cool!   Good luck!!!  Dr L is the greatest!

I bought my first pair of "normal" shoes last week.  I used to have to buy 3W shoes from Zappos or Footsmart.  I now can fit into a regular wide shoe at a normal store.  I may turn into a shoes horse as I have always just owned a couple of pair at a time because they were so expensive.  I am very excited!!!

Welcome aboard!  I actually was able to buy a pair of boots to wear riding my motorcycle a few weeks ago. I have never been able to buy boots before because of all the swelling in my feet, ankles, and legs.  GOod luck!
