We are entertaining company from Texas. Yesterday we toured Acadia, walked around the summit of Cadillac Mtn and walked Bar Harbor and the shops.

I was struck that I am able to walk with ease, I observed a man who was having much difficulty walking up the inclines on the top of Cadillac Mtn. I, on the other hand was,  walking without huffing and puffing or without my knee brace or much knee pain. 1 Year ago I would have been having these symptoms and in medication requiring pain.

These past few days I have gotten in abut 4 hours of walking and feel wonderful!

That is great that you can enjoy things now.
This surgery has been a miracle to so many of us. i always have a hard time when i see someone struggling like i use to. part of me wants to go up to them and say wow look at me and you could have relief too. But then I know that it is a touchy subject and many people do not want to be aproached. So I just think my thoughts to myself.
