thankful for my wls moment
My little guy had to have surgery yesterday due to breaking his arm. The nurses told us that one of his parents could come with him to get him settled in the OR. They gave me a lovely one piece paper jumpsuit to put on. BOY was I glad it fit. Here my child is having surgery and all I can think is thank god I lost all this weight and this suit fit. There is no way that I would have been able to have worn it at my previous size. Just another reason I am thankful that I had this surgery. My little guy did fine and is on his way to a speedy recovery.

I'm glad to hear he's doing ok and has bounced back so quickly.
Isn't it weird the things we worried and still worry about? Will it fit, will I have to ask for a larger gown, a seat belt extension, it that chair sturdy enough? Those are all thing of the past. But our brains take longer to get used to the new us.
