Today's checkup first fill holy crap!

Great checkup ......moved to phase 4 for a week and then can go to phase 5......got a 2cc fill....Couldn't believe they did it today but was so psyched!!!

Wow, that was quick. Good luck, hope all goes well with the fill. 

Thats great!  I have my checkup next week at 3 week mark - maybe she will fill it for me too?  did you feel like you have restriction though before the fill? and do you feel any difference now?

Well I'm bummed now....I had surgery a day before you and just got to move to stage 2 with foods yesterday and I can't have a fill for 4 more weeks.  Sigh..........

I felt no restriction before the fill at all and was feeling ALOT of hunger.  Ate lunch after the fill (same exact meal I ate on Saturday before the fill) and I definitely felt some difference.  I ate alot less.  Even the NUT was surprised at the fill - doesn't usually happen until you've been on phase 4 food officially....Can't wait to see what happens with the loss now.  I am down 33 lbs from the original appt with my primary care in January.  My BMI yesterday was 38.1, body comp was 47.2% fat (that number shocked the heck out of me.....I thought it would have been higher).  NUT said average at the first post surgery visit is 52 so I'm ecstatic with that.  So I have officially gone from "morbidly obese" to just plain obese.(55 more and I'll just be overweight LOL).  I'd be damned happy to be in that category. 

Part of me feels so bad..I'm having an easy time with it and my friend had to have hers removed two days before mine went on.  She's having a really hard time..doesn't think the insurance will pay for a revision of any kind.  She was one of my cheerleaders and now I feel horrible that she's in the situation she's in and I am just starting out.  I feel like I am a reminder of what she lost.
