Dr. Carroll

Hello. I'm new to posting here.I'm so very happy to have found this forum!!!!! I am meeting with Dr. Carroll Wednesday regarding the lap band surgery. I've already had my first nutritionist appt. Is there anyone who can tell me what to expect at the first meeting w/ him? He works out of SMMC. Thanks so much.

Hi!  You have come to a very friendly and helpful forum.  I am not familiar with Dr. Carroll or lapband, but I am sure someone will respond soon with help.  Congrats on getting this far in your journey and good luck!

I had lap band surgery in December and I am so happy that I did.  I am not familiar with Dr. Carroll, but I am sure most of the processes are the same, so if you have any questions just ask, and hopefully I will be able to help, if not I am sure there are others who can.

Hi, I'm new to posting here, too.  I have Dr. Carroll and have met with him.  He will ask you what you expect of him and the surgery.  You can ask him any questions you may have about the surgery you would like.  He told me he's not much for office meetings and much prefers to do what he does best which is surgery.  I found him to be friendly.  I have heard he is excellent at what he does but doesn't have the best bedside manner.
