Riding out the wave

So I have 35 days until my surgery.  I have been taking in 1000 calories a day to lose weight before surgery. I have lost 26 pounds.  I have 24 more to get off all the rest of my 10% and need to lose more than that so i have a buffer for my lymphedema and weight gain from water. The surgeon said that if I don't get r done, no surgery.  That was in June.  I am concerned to say the least. I do not want to arrive at the hospital the day of surgery, get weighed in and then sent home because I didn't make it. That would be mortifying!! To say the least.  So yes, I am starting to stress here.  I need to lose a pound a day till surgery to make it. I am not concerned about my dieting as I am doing exactly what I need to but will my body respond .  This wave is not fun and I have to ride it anyway.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Did I miss something?  Where has Ruth been??? And Amber
