I have been on graze mode since I have been back to work full-time. Maybe I need to give up work? LOL Just kidding, love my job.

B: Coffee
     DD Wake Up Wrap (egg,cheese in a small wrap.  170 calories, 7 gr. protein, not bad)
S: 1/2 unjury shake
L: crustless spinahc quiche
S: 1/2 unjury shake
D: haddock
S: tapioca w/cool whip

Also did water aerobics this am, that burned a few calories (try to make up for the last few days...)

B crystal light tea 8 oz
    1 scrambled egg and 1 oz cheddar cheese
S 1 oz string cheese
L Sliced ham and two slices of american
S Carnation instant breakfast with skim milk
D chicken with ff gravy
S Sugar Free popsicle
   light and fit yogurt

I'm getting bored with food...and I REALLY miss potatoes....would it be horrible to have some mashed potato with ff gravy before my two week checkup????

I can kinda understand the no veggies or fruit but for some reason this is harder than the two weeks before surgery...maybe cause I am sitting home now vs working then.

Red are the changes I made.....MaineHappyMama - adding the lunch and carnation instant put me at 65g protein according to the realize website...without adding the carnation today I would have been low but every other day I've done has been 60+...THANKS for catching it.

I think  you can have  few tablespoons of mashed potato as long as you are getting all your protein in, that seems to be the biggest challenge the first couple of weeks.

Every doctor is different and what they want you eating.  My doctor says clear liquids the week after surgery and then the next week its puree foods.  Which in my notes says mashed potatoes.  And before my surgery I have on two days of liquid diet, which I've seen two weeks for some.  My surgery is Aug. 3, it's coming fast.  I finally found a protein drink that doesn't make me want to upchuck.  tmi.  sorry.

I think I am getting enough protein....The only thing I am not doing off the sample diet is the unjury shakes..gotta order more..down to three packages.

Lisa-Are you tracking your protein grams?  I don't really see 60 there (not trying to be critical!!  just helpful)

B: Slim Fast High Protein Shake (15 gr)
L: 2 eggs + 1 laughing cow light cheese (16.5 gr)
D: Fage w/splenda (16 gr)
S: Slm Fast High protein Shake (15 gr)

I sent a sample day to my dr's office and she was okay with the protein levels...today looks light so I'll probably add some protein powder to my yogurt or have a carnation instant nsa instead of a crystal light beverage.

I did make a few changes but my dr's office said as long as I am between 40-50 right now they are good with that...eventually shooting for the 50-60 range.  Thanks for helping me out!!!

It's nice to have people bounce ideas off of and have other people checking your work, so to speak ;)  As for potatoes; they are on the OK list for me!!  I'd have some if you are craving them.....ever try to ignore a craving and eat everything else to try and get that taste instead??  Ugh.  Good luck!

dr's office said no potato until I see the NUT on Wednesday..oh well..I'll suffer thru...The worst part right now is that I am starting PMS weeks and really want tons of salty anything....LOL...will have to add some salt to my meals (something I NEVER do) just to fix that craving. 

the first thing I am gonna make when I can have potato is a recipe I made during the preweeks
Cream of Potato soup
8 oz skim milk
1/2 boiled or baked potato  - no skin
1 envelope Unjury chicken soup flavor powder

heat the potato, while that is heating mix the powder and milk..stir into the heated potato until smooth....wicked yummy
