Summer Gathering...???

Hello Everyone...I hope y'all had a good 4th of July !! 
Was wondering IF anyone was still planning on a Summer Gathering ??
IF so...any thoughts on "where" and "when"...I'd be happy to start the ball rolling...the time just seems to be flying by too quickly and August is gonna be here before we know it...
If you wanna throw some dates and places out there, maybe we could get some plans started...??

Where did you all meet last year?  Where is a good miday point for everyone? 

Hi Kelly...I'm not sure the name of the park but it was in the Poland Spring area (??) I think...very nice beach and picnic area but it was a bit of a hike for some...
I'm not sure on a good "mid-point" area...hoping to get more feedback from some of the others...??

We could   check  Lamoine state Park
but there is  a  picnic area at the end of that road just not sure that there is  facilities there for bathrooms or not.

Other than that  not sure where else to look  anyone else got any suggestions

Either the 2nd or the 9th works for me...

There's also a really nice State Park in Searsport...Moose Point
There's a $2 charge per person...plenty of bathrooms...play area for the kiddos with swings, slide, etc...and right on the ocean...sand by the beach and grassy areas with picnic tables and BBQ pits...

Also...Field of Dreams in Unity...bathrooms, picnic tables, play area, baseball diamonds...b'ball court...foot path around the park...once around is one mile

Lamone state park is in Lamoine

On the way to Acadia  You take a left in trenton then a right at the end of that road.

But Moose point is fine too.   either would be great!!!  I do have a canopy  if we need it!!!

what does everyone else think   and I think the  2  or  9 of August migh work  even  July  26  they are all sundays. 

I love Moose Point state park, but anywhere is fine to me.  Sundays are good, so are Saturdays.  I know some of us go to church on Sunday. I think the 26th of July might be too soon to get everything planned, but maybe not.

Moose Point sound great!  I can do any weekend.  I will have my kiddos if that is okay.
