Hi Tanya,

I am so excited!  Did you have your revision?  I told Dr Claytor that I knew you at my last appt. I am unable to process in my mind how I will look in the mirror and how I will feel physically. I am so nervous!! But I do feel very at ease with Dr Claytor.

I had it this past Thursday.  It was supposed to be simple--take some skin out and only pain from incisions (it is moving the muscle that is painful.  Well when he went in there the pocket was too big for the implant so they were moving around more than he liked.  So he had to lift the muscle, take them out, and he used some of my tissue from other places in the breast to basically fill the pocket (stitch it back in).   So when I woke up I was like....ummm....oouuuccchhh.  Since I was surprised.  The first time they looked great at 3 days out (although I was prepared to be freaked because I read that like 90% of the time they look deformed at first until they settle.

Anyways, I asked him if he could make them smaller while he was in there and he took me down a whole cup size.  I am psyched about that!  They are still sore and tender (moreso than the first surgery).   They are alittle cone-ish at the moment.  I call 'em my madonna boobs.  But I know they are still swollen and will settle a lot more.  I am sure I will love them, I already am thrilled with the size.

He is actually pretty funny sometimes.  When he had to take some stitches out he was filling the time with a joke about De-neice and De-nephew.  It was a hoot because you just don't take him for a funny guy ya know.  I think I have a minicrush on him LOL.  Talked to Harvard Pildrim about my panni denial (long story).  But basically I am not even going to bother with an appeal.  So if I ever end up doing the tummy it will be with my own $, so it won't be for a long time.  I'll have to get my Dr. Claytor fix with juvaderm LOL.

I'll be thinking about you tomorrow!  I know it will go great!  I can't wait to see how you feel when you first look down and see no tummy there!!!!!  What a weird and exciting feeling.  I think the last time I didn't have one was kindergarden LOL.

Try not to be too nervous, you'll do awesome.  It is so weird.  Once they put you on the table it is like 1 minute and you're out.  The anesthesia works so fast.  You'll be waking up with no tummy before you know it!

I have an appointment with Dr. Claytor today.  I'm going to ask how she did (I am sure she did wonderful!)  Just in case she is too sore and we don't hear from her today.  I'll be back later this afternoon.
