OT Going Rate???

My son finally lost his first baby tooth tonight at dinner. I have no idea what the going rate is for the toothfairy...lol When I was a kid it was like a .25....I was thinking I had a .50 piece that I got the other day for change. Should I give him that?? Clueless here....lol

my son will be 17 tomorrow. i gave him a buck per tooth. my mom gave me 5 bucks per wisdom tooth with a note "the tooth fairy lives" LOL

I settled on the .50 cent piece, but his counselor gave me a really good idea yesterday that I may do next time. She leaves a small container of water for the toothfairy to drink or wash, and she leaves glitter all over...lol. He will like seeing that.
