I'm home and I have been Realized

Well, it's over.  I had surgery yesterday morning at around 9:30.  Woke up in recovery about 11:45 and left the hospital around 3:00.  I was doped up for most of the day yesterday, but feeling a little bit better today.  I am kind of sore around my incisions--taking percoset for pain.  Everytime I
take some I get real sleepy and have to lay down for a while.

I had a little bit of soft protein today and after 14 days of the liquid diet it tasted great.  Just taking it slow and easy.

Anyone else out there with a Realize band?

Well I'll see you on the losers bench real soon.

Just want to say thanks for all the words of encouragement you have all given me.

That's wonderful. So nice to be able to sleep in your own bed the same day of surgery.

McBrook's son Shawn is 2 weeks out with the realize band done by Dr. Toder. He's doing really well. I saw them Tuesday. We ate dinner in the hospital cafe after support group.
