I usually have breakfast at 5:30. It's almost 7. I have an appointment with my primary physician at 8 whi*****ludes a cholesterol test. SO no eating until after the doctor's visit. I'll be interested to see what my numbers are now. My cholesterol levels were through the roof prior to surgery.

I've got my yogurt/strawberry/bran buds/protein powder breakfast made and ready for right after the appt.

I saw you at the stop light this am and wondered where you were headed.   I figured you weren't on your way to work because you were going the wrong direction!  Good luck.

Thanks- I had tried to change my avatar earlier and it wouldn't. This time it worked.

Uh-oh- I've been spotted. It was nice to sleep in.

So----- drum roll------ My PCP walked in the exam room, did a 360 turn about, looked at the chart and asked if I was the right person. He said the staff told him he wouldn't believe the change. He's amazed at the weight loss.

My  blood pressure was normal, my cholesterol was......185!!!! and my BMI is almost below 30 according to his scale. He was very pleased. He asked if I remembered our discussion about metabolic syndrome- yes I did. He says I have improved and have taken away almost of all the factors. Now to get below 30 BMI.
They also took a new photo for the computerized records.

I've got a few more minutes of work and then I'm heading to Bangor to support group.

I am so bummed out I didn't get to go to the support group meeting. I really need to go, but I got a migraine and came home and went to bed, and on such a beautiful day too.

Emily,

Congrats on all the good news, so awesome!
