As you all know, I have been through some major things.  Now I will be having surgery in a couple of months.  I was so focused on getting healthy to get surgery. Now the doctor has said we are moving forward and all of a sudden I am scared silly.  Is this normal?  I have worked so hard and now I'm scared.  What is wrong with me? Geez.  Breathing lol.  Anyone else experience this? How did you deal? My goodness, I am excited, more scared,  happy and crying.

BREATHE!!!!!!!!!!   You are PERFECTLY normal!  I think if you didn't have some of these feelings, I'd be more worried about you!  Just believe and know that you are doing the right thing and things will work out!  Being scared is something most, if not all of us, go through at some point in our journey!  Just breathe.......keep doing your research, prepare your mind and your body for this life-changing experience!  It'll all work out!  Just relax!!!!!  You've worked hard for this!  Enjoy it!!!!!!!!!

When reality sets in it does get scary, up until that point it's all just talk and appointments.  You will be fine, I am four weeks out today and I have lost 52 pounds (none in the last two weeks) and I go out to eat with my friends and family, cook good stuff and it's all good.

20 pounds lost during two week pre-op diet.

I just had my surgery 3 days ago and I could have written this post.  Just relax and be confident that this is a good thing and it is all going to work out great for you.
