Had surgery this morning!!!

Had my surgery at 9am this morning!  I was supposed to go in at 10am but got in early.  It took 2.5 hours.

I feel great EXCEPT for the 2 incisions on the left side.  I have had laproscopic surgery before and didn't have pain this great with those.  Pain meds are doing their job though.

Drank some water, had a couple of spoonfuls of broth and a spoon full of jello.  That was plenty for now.

Anyway just wanted to give you all the update, you have all been so supportive and helpful!

congratulations!  Its always good to hear people doing well after surgery.  They say the incision on the left hurts so much because it is muscle.  Take care and keep us posted on your progress

Thanks everyone!  It has been a rough couple of days.  Today is the first day I was able to drink a protein shake.  Since leaving the hosptial I had only been getting in about 10 ounces of water ~ which of course is not nearly enough.  This morning I got my 8oz shake in and am working on finishing the water bottle they give you.

My side still really hurts, but my spirits are really good today!
