Since everyone is sharing their WOW's.......here's mine for the day!

I went for a 10 mile bike ride (hills and all!!) and made it back home in UNDER an hour!!!!!  My goal was to be able to make it back up the hill to my house without stopping!  AND.........I did it for the first time today!!!!!

Now.........I gotta go ice my knees!  Stinks getting old!  haha!!!

Have a great evening!!!!!!!!!!!

Ruth,
Awesome job.  I just got a new road bike!  I am waiting for my pedals to come in the mail to wear with my bike shoes.  My goal is to be able to ride my bike to work someday soon.  It is 29 miles one way.  The hills have me kinda worried though.

Ruth, is there some kind of brace or something you could get to help your knees? I know you are a PT, but sometimes we forget to "care" for ourselves.  You are awesome, way to go!!

That is awesome!!!  I cant ride a bike.  It hurts my butt too much.  I have no butt, never have.  No padding to help with those hard narrow seats!!  lol

  Anything is possible with GOD!!

I am the "buttless wonder" around here so I am kind of surprised that my butt isn't killing me today!  haha!

I have my knees kinesiotaped right now and I do have some braces that I wear once the tape falls off.  I'm just trying to work through it at this point.  Ice helps some, once I get home.  It'll heal.....it just takes time!

Enjoy the rain today everyone!!!!
