should be feeling guilty.... but not
OK... Soooo I was always the "fat ugly" kid in school and I hung out with the other "fat ugly" kids... and we were totally jelous of the popular kids that everyone liked and yada yada... WELL... I have a lot of them on my face book and it is just soooo funny to me that some of the people that were the meanest to us are not so great looking (nor do thay have the best lives... or as good as i would consider mine....) I couldn't belive that this made me happy at first... BUT then i though... what the heck, they were mean little terds to me in school i should be able to enjoy this moment at least for a fleating moment.... what does everyone else think when they see someone that might not have treated them so well because of their looks/weight but now look/weigh what they were makeing fun of??
Yep, I agree. I grew up in Southern California in the 70's and always heard about Karma. So I grew up totally thinking that what come around goes around. I was lucky enough to know that what my Mother told me was true. She alwasys said that no one was better than anyone else "we all put our pants on one leg at a time and everyone's **** stinks, no matter who they are." I always remember that and imagining those nasty snobby people sitting on the toilet taking a turd.... Then I would feel sorry for them and wonder what made them so nasty to begin with.
But Iagree with you, many of those people have turned out with very unhappy lives, like they had the best time of their lives in school where as the rest of us keep on trying to live our lives right and make it good for the long haul.
It's okay to gloat a little, you have worked hard to prove that you are as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside.
