Hope there's some room for me on the loser's bench because here I come!!!

Surgery went well. My IV and catheter came out today, just have the drains left as of now. I just got to eat/drink some delicious chicken broth and red sf jello. It was like heaven!

I'm feeling pretty good - lots of drainage - which is good - better out than in, right?!? hehe I'll be able to post more details later but wanted to check in real quick at least.

scootin' ovah! Of course there is plenty of room! Man, drains, catheter? I had none of that! I remember my first saltine (one or two months post op, of course) was just sheer heaven!

Hey, come sit on the loser's bench next to me! I think our new "birthdays" are less then a week apart!

Glad to hear the surgery went well. Catheter and drains....yucky! I didn't have either of those. Of course the nurses kept telling me to go pee because if I didn't make quota I would have to have a catheter. Thank goodness I made it!
