I am pleased to announce that the wound on my leg is completely gone. The antibiotics they put me on did the trick. Hopefully the MRSA is cleared up as well. Its a good day.

When do you go back to the surgeon? And will they give you a new date then? You must be ready to start your journey.

I see my surgeon on June 10th to sign consent forms and will get a new date on that day. I am barely able to contain myself I am so excited. I cannot wait to be on the losers bench. After all I have been through I deserve this. I can't wait. Probably sometime in early to mid july for me. Keeping fingers crossed.

Make sure you take the antibiotics until they tell you it is ok to stop. MRSA can remain in the nose for long periods of time and pop up again when you least expect it!! It stinks haveing to stay on medication longer then you think BUT its better then getting another infection!! Hope everything stays headed up for you!!
