sharing my Band experience
I am loving my band, I know it took me a long time to get here but man, this is exactly what I wanted. I stop for "REgular" icecream, (only have a baby cone), I eat chicken wings but eat (One, or two), I can have choc. and cake, but if I stick to my proteins first, I have a few bites of cake. I am feeling great, (except for my poison ivy). It is amazing how this band works. It totally puts a "WOH" to eating large meals, but still being able to eat everything and I feel so normal. I have my moments and eat slidder foods and eat much more then I should, but as long as I get back to the "Rules" the next meal or day, I'm right back on track. I can have my band adjusted, for vacations, or once I reach goal, or if I need to loose faster. it is so awesome. I hope anyone who had the band or is thinking of doing it. understands it does take a little time for it to kick in, but so worth the wait. Don't give up on it, keep seeing your dr. for fills. and you will get to goal and have your health, all in due time. Best of luck to all of you. Hugs, Cheryl
Many people say it takes time to find that sweet spot but once you do you are golden. I'm glad it's finally working the way it was intended and you are feeling the benefits. I have a few friends that have them and one that is getting ready to have one. So far they love it and two of them are husband and wife and have had theirs for more than five years. They both look and feel amazing. Good for you!
