My surgery day is finally here! I go in on Wednesday the 27th. Family has asked if I'm nervous and so far I'm not. I'm ready to go, have the surgery, and be back home!

Any advise on what to take with me? I know we have the list in our red binders but did you take everything on that list?

I'll post again as soon as I am able to after I'm home.

take your jammies and stuff for a shower. Dr toder lets you have a shower the next day if all went well.
Something to read just in case you want to but i didn't

I brought jammies, but couldn't wear them because of the IV. Definately bring some comfortable slippers, you'll want them to walk in. I also brought stuff to read, but the drugs made my eyes too heavy. Mostly I just walked and slept. Good luck, we'll be thinking about you.

A pillow for the ride home it helps. All I can think of right now. Good Luck with your surgery tomorrow.

chapstick because you won't be able to drink anything for a while. hand lotion too. my skin got dry. ear plugs if you have a noisy roommate.
