I can't believe it

Neither will you....

Ok well I was just told that I have MRSA and cellulitis is brewing.  Is this a joke?  Really, I just can't believe I am being bombarded with illnesses. I  have been going to the Wound Clinic at SMMC as i have a boo boo that wont go away. It started as a surface scratch as I had bumped my leg on a cardboard box and the flap gave me a little scratch.  Never would I have imagined that it would turn into such a big deal!    They said it was due to coumadin but its actually been re-evaluated as MRSA.  What next?  I had to laugh cuz I don't want to go nutty.  Handling it very well I would say.  The silver lining to this cloud is that Dr. Cobean still wants to see me as scheduled on the 10th of June.  On two types of anti-biotics for 10 days. Hope it helps or they say i will have to be hospitalized.  Cross your fingers folks that  I dont have to go back in.

 Going slightly mad lol.

Wow, if it weren't for bad luck.... YOu know the saying. Well I do hope the oral meds get rid of the infection without too much other "distress" to you system. I had cellulitis in my left leg two years ago and was in the hospital for a week. DId not like it, was shocked at how painful it was.  Good luck, all I can say is better to save your "good" luck for when you have your RNY!

Get well soon.

ABSOLUTELY!  Certainly things will have to go well after the surgery huh.  All the bad luck hitting me as it has pre surgery should be a hint of good to come.  Life is not all bad things happening forever.  Taking it in stride.  Its beginning to be comical.  Moving On...
