I am going insane...

well, my DH and I made a beautiful new garden a week or so ago.  GUESS what we have?  yup! poisen Ivy.  MY DH's is around his ankles and my arms are full.  I am starting to get weird looks.  I am itching and going insane.  so yea, call a dr. you say.   hmmm??  well, here is the next problem, I am having a 2 step TB TESTING done (mandatory for my job)  haha, no steroids can be taken to mask the results.  well, guess what they give for poisen ivy itching?  yup, steroids.... I'ts 1:30 am right now and I'm ready to walk across the living room rug dragging my ass like my puppy used to do.  (Not that my ass itches)  but just trying to give you a visual.  my next round of test is next tues + 2 days of incubation time.  do you know if Benadryl would hurt the outcome of the test???

I have no idea about benadryl hurting the test results ..I dont think it will hurt anything call the doctor office and ask,,but I am sitting  here laughting my ass off with the visual. .....I was a great thing to wake up tooo.......sorry to hear about poisen ivy..

Sleep with socks on your hands so you can't scratch in your sleep lol. Well that is what mom used to do to us lol. Hope you can get some relief soon.

Oh that sucks.  I am very allergic to poison ivy.  You poor thing.  I usually have to take steroids too.  It makes me itch just thinking about it.

Have you looked at the ingredients in Caladryl?  That has calamine lotion and benadryl in it.  That shouldn't bother a TB test.

I just got back from pharmacy and he said Benedril don't have steroids in it.  lets hope he is right,  if not, who the hell is gonna know.  my blisters are all leaking today, how gross..

Benedryl has an antihisamine, no steroids.
Come to think of it we were never warned about medications and TB tests.
