Home from the Hospital.

Things went well from a surgery standpoint. I didn't do well with nausea after the anesthesia and they had to give me six different meds to get it to go away and that drugged me up so badly.  I hated it! 

Started to question what the hell I'd done to myself already.  But my BFF stayed with me, she sat quietly in the corner and came to my side whenever I needed her.  I had to get up a do some loops because I didn't know how else to get the "loopy" out of me! All I wanted to do was sleep so that it would go away, it was awful!

So I din't take any more pain meds until yesterday am, I needed to sober up first. But this am I got to have a small amount of Instant breakfast and I had a little unjury this afternoon.  I did, of course, gain four pounds from all the fluid and the surgery itself.  Dr. Huang said things were pretty standard surgery wise. So here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

Everyone was pretty nice at EMMC, but I'm glad to be home.

Sorry to hear about the nausea.  That sucks.  It sounds like you are doing better.  I hope you continue to do well.  Hey 4 pounds isn't bad at all I think mine was around 8.  I hope to see you at the 3 Dog Cafe in June.

well, you had a rough few days, but now things will get better every day.  Just follow the rules and Heal.  Congratulations and welcome to the Bench.

Sorry to hear about the nausea but glad the surgery went well!  Welcome home and to the loser's bench!  Take it slow:  sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk!!!!!!  Speedy healing to you!!!!!!

Glad that your home from the hospital, sounds like everything went well except for the drugs they gave you but now that that has passed your on your way to a skinny new you.  I wish you continued improvement.  I have 1 more week before my surgery.

congradulations on getting home that is alway the best thing..I hate anesthesia also but with out it we wouldnt have surgery.. like everyone else say sip sip walk walk rest rest./ welcome to the loser bench. after a few week you will think different..
