One year ago today!

I had my one year follow up today.  Exactly one year ago today I had my RNY.  My life has changed so much.  I am happy and healthy.  I have lost 101 lbs which is 112% of my excess body weight.  My lab work was all normal.  I used to have a low HDL(good cholesterol) now it is great!!! Dr. Loggins was very pleased with my results.
 I am a runner now and this summer I am doing a 10 mile trail race and a triathalon. I used to hate exercise and never liked running even as a kid.  But now I love it!!!  I really excited about both of these.  All of this is possible because of my RNY! 
I have so much more confidence and my self esteem is better.  My family is very happy.  My husband and I are closer now than we ever have been.  He is even losing weight now too and running with me. 
People do not recognize me often.  I did not really see that much of a difference until they gave me my before and after photos today.  I am so amazed at the transformation.  I do not even recognize the person I used to be and I never want to be her again.


so here is my before and after.  Amazing isn't it???  Thanks to all of you for your support and encouragment along the way.  You are all an amazing group of people.

I would love to see the pics but I can't see them.  did you put them on your profile first?  then you can cut and past onto your post.  man, I am tryign to think of who else I saw.  I young girl walked in.  are you the one. had white pants on and brown top?  I think your the only one I saw, I heard someone in the other room, but I think she had the band.  congrats on a wonderful job.  you must feel wonderful.  Damn, see you should have shared your picture, I could of said hi and gave you a hug.

I can see them.   I pasted them to my profile first then copied them over.  I even logged off and went and looked as a guest and I can see them.  I had on scrubs as I was working today.  I had grey scrub pants and a white top with little pink flowers and had on a blue fleece jacket.  I think it was you walking out of the office as I was headed in

I did see someone coming in the back door and actually thought you were someone who worked there.  this does NOT look like you. holy cow, what a change.  and the blond hair just isn't fair, your tricking us.
