I'm back

I's always good to get home. The business trip was good. We went to Presque Isle, Caribou and LImestone Tuesday and Wednesday. The seminars were well attended and the people in the "county" are refreshingly kind and courteous. The potatos are ready to plant, the fields tilled.
The weather was perfect, the drive great- I sat in the passenger seat knitting.

Food was not an issue. I found plenty of choices which fit my needs, even at McDonalds for lunch yesterday! I had my water bottle and refilled it and added my crystal light at each stop (bathroom and gas stops on the way) I weighed myself this morning, down 1.2 pounds since my Saturday weigh-in.

At the Marden's in PI and I found $1 a yard fabric! Actually 90 cent a yard after I bought out one of the bolts of fabric, an additional 10% off if you buy a whole bolt  So there's a fleece jacket, curtains and a baby blanket to make in my future.

Back to the normal grind this morning- feed the dog, ready for work, drive the van-pool. Boy, was it good to be in my own bed last night.

Glad you made it through, I know what you mean about your own bed. I just packed and stopped and took one long look at my bed. I promised I would be back in a few days to lay in it,  LOVE MY OWN BED!!
