Keep your fingers crossed for me???!!!??!!!
I am going to see my PCP on Thursday in hopes of getting a referral to a plastic surgeon! I've been having issues with my back bothering me when I try to run and I know it's from this extra skin on my stomach "flopping around" when I try to run. I've tried several types of abdominal "binders" and support garments and nothing seems to help. I'm ok when I walk, but I WANT to run more! (Am I NUTS or what???!!!?!!!) I'm also going to go see a chiropractor (he did an awesome job with my daughter last year and I'm hoping he can help with my back too!)
So...........If you all could keep your fingers and toes and legs and whatever else you can crossed for me so that I can get this referral and get this covered by insurance, I'd really be forever grateful!!!!!
Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful, warm, sunny weather!!!!!!!
Thanks!!!!

I'm crossing everything for you! It's such and exciting thing! I hope it all goes through for you! I would definitely recommend Plastic and Hand and Dr. Claytor in Portland.
Not sure who your insurance covers, but I got to Family Chiropractic in Lewiston (past the turnpike exit on Lisbin Str). Dr. McClain. The bonuc of going there is they offer neuromuscular massage. So we go for our adjustment (they use this clicky thing, no pressing or popping anything), then they send you off to see the massage therapist for a 30-40 minute rub down....Aaaahhhhhhhh. I count down the days every month when I get to go there! My entire family started going there for the rubs LOL. All for the same $20 co-pay. There is 1 insurance that doesn't cover the massage.....I can't think of it right now, but it will come to me. If you can go anywhere and you get the insurance I would totally pick them... besides that they are super nice (they made us lasagna's and dropped them off at our house after we had the babies)...hello.....free massage with adjustment...that's enough for me!
Keep us posted....I'm so excited for you if this goes through!

Thanks you gals! It's exciting but I'm really nervous too! I just hope I can convince the insurance to pay due to the back pain. (Wish I had some rashes too, but, guess I'm too clean! haha! NOT! jk) Guess time will tell..........and I'm ready and willing to appeal IF I need to!!!!!!!!
I'll keep you posted! (I'm going to request a referral to Portland and see what my PCP says!)
Thanks all!!!!!!!! Enjoy your day!!!!!!!
