Pain in the lower left hand side of your abdomen.  I'm talking right above your pelvis bone on the left side.   I've been having this for a few weeks now and mentioned it when I saw the surgeon for my 1 year follow up.  We both kinda thought it was just gas because it comes and goes.  Well, the past few days, I've had it more and more frequently.  I can be sitting, standing, walking, sleeping, whatever and it will double me over in pain and 2 minutes later, it will be gone!  It's really weird!  (TMI but I'm doing fine in the "poo" category!)    Any ideas?

Thanks!!  Have a great weekend and Mother's day!!!!!!  Enjoy the sun!

geee I don't know Ruth, I was thinking poop too. You think maybe its a pulled muscle?  Maybe you should call and have it checked out.  I wouldn't go too far out into the woods if I was you.  you be careful.  good luck

I  would  think  kidney stones expecially since you eat so much  cheese and milk but that is only a guess.  and not one  you should go with You should  call and report it to the doctors and it is too bad you cant be checked when you are in  an attack.   I would strain my   urine just incase you pass a stone.   until you see the doctor.   But  it could be anything but we all agree that you should get it checked sooner rather than later.

Have a great  weekend

and  mothers day

First of all, I have a pelvis bone??? LOL  I think you should see your PCP and maybe they can refer you for an ultrasound of that area.  Your appendix is on the right side, and so is your gall bladder so rule those out.  I would be more concerned about either a cyst or tumor on your ovary/uterus or it could be an adhesion (scar tissue) from surgery. Is it near any of your port sites?  In any case, pain isn't somethin to be ignored.  Better safe than sorry. Good luck!

Thanks for your input everyone!  It hasn't been too bad today (even with the walking we did!).  My gallbladder is already gone, so I know it's not that.  I'm thinking it may have something to do with my ovaries as I haven't had my TOM since October..........I'm just wondering how that is affecting my body?!?!?  I'll call my PCP this week, if I get a minute, and just see what she says.  I'll have it checked out soon.........especially if it gets any worse!

BTW...........YES...........we DO have pelvis bones in there!  I NEVER knew that until recently myself!   It's not always a good thing to know that they are there though.........I walked into a doorknob the other day and hit my iliac crest on it.......WOW!!!!  Now THAT hurt!!!!!!!!!   Guess what????   We have collarbones too!!!!!!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!!!!!   Just wait.....it's amazing the bones I've found...........You'll find them too!!!!!!!!!

Ruth, I would either see your PCP or a GYN.  I had those exact pains for years before I finally talked to my GYN.  They finally took it serious and found that I had ovarian cysts.  Eventually had all the plumbing removed due to poly-cystic ovaries, but what a relief to finally have that pain stop.  Missi
