Keep us updated on when he gets his orders and goes.  I have adopted a soldier in Iraq who has been there almost a year now and gets to leave in November.  I am always sending him cards and packages.  He says getting postcards, newspapers, letters in the mail (moreso than email) really help to lift him up.  I would love to send your son mail while he is there...when the time comes just post us his mailing info, I am sure he will love to hear his name called with the mail!

I know you guys are so proud, but I can't even imagine how you must feel.  Torn I suppose.

Please thank him for serving for us.  I understand being worried, that's what Mom's do.  You should be very proud of him.  I agree with Tanya, I'd love to mail greetings from home to make his stay even easier.  Give him a big hug from all of us!

I wish you your son and your family all the best! I've been through having my husband deployed and it's hard, but it gets better!! Please thank him for his hard work and effort and defending us all!~
