I'm doing great!  Day 2 (yesterday) I had to go to Portland to get the drains out.  Did that and then went to the christmas tree shop!  I am not overdoing it though.  No lifting or stretching, just some walking.  I took 1 vicadin every 4-6 hours the first day, then I took 2 yesterday.  I have only been on tylenol since last night.  I even have been putting on regular shirts, not button ups.  I really am amazed at how much better I feel than expected.  I have been quite tired still and have been napping a lot.

They are pretty swollen, at least I am really hoping they are!  If not they are much bigger than I thought they would be.  He only put in 270cc's, which is a ton lower than others on the plastocs board, so I am hoping they are just swolle.  I go back next Thursday for a check.  Things are going great though pain wise.

Oh Tanya! I am SOOO happy for you! Glad that you don't have to take the narcotics!  I hope I will have the same experience with that!  I know that is normal to have some swelling!  Make sure you post a picture of the new you!!

I loved Dr. Claytor and everyone there.  He is such a gentle, kind, guy.  If I ever did anything else I would go back to him in a second.  He makes sure that you understand what is realistic etc.

happy for you.  but,  i've got a question no one else has asked.  Has DH sized them up yet.  is he anxious to see them???  how did you choose which surgery to have first?  I'm not sure one of my problems is better then the other.  I wouldn't know where to begin.  probably tt, but then again, I do'n't seem to loose weight in my boobs, Damn it!  haha, but then again, I havn't lost 100 lbs.

He hasn't really sized them up LOL.  They are quite tender, so the thought of rubbing up against something is not so good ha ha.  I had told him before the surgery "EVerytime I freak out about the size, or the shape, or something looking weird, make sure to remind me that they change a lot and we knew this would happen with swelling."  So that has helped since I keep saying they are so big.  I had big boobs for so long I definitely didn't want big ones again...More like a plain 'ol C not hanging.

There is a bunch of stuff I would of course want done, but I had to sit and think what bothered me the most, or what would change how things fit the most.  That is how I decided what to do and went with the boobs.  To be honest, I could care less if they looked like boobs out of a bra LOL.  We have been together 13 years, married 7 and he was fine with me almost 300 pounds.  But when I was rolling them up in my bra it was causing issues with what I could or couldn't wear.  I am much smaller now, but still couldn't wear thin strap tanks because I still needed DD bras to hold all this skin up (and with thick straps).  Only 1/2 the cup would end up being full, but if I got smaller I would hang out the sides.  So I was looking at not wanting to wear rank tops at all.  Then when I would try on dresses my boobs were too big to fit in the little boob area in the size I needed.  But going up a size in the dress looked funny everywhere else.  Same with tops...I would need a bigger size to button over my boobs than the rest of me needed.

So I figured by doing my boobs I would wear just about anything and my clothes in general would fit better.

My stomach of course bugs me, but I can completely cover it in clothes and it doesn't really affect the size I would get.  I just wanted to do something that would help me the most in my clothes etc.

I have to say, I feel I can hide the boobs, and tummy (Little harder I think), but my arms i wouldn't mind fixing. BUT, I've seen so many botched arm jobs, I will not go there.  I just need to get used to them.  the worst part is people looking at them. I want to just say.  WTF is your problem. Geeesm, I got flabby arms, leave me alone. they never did anything to you....
