Insurance coverage for Panni removal

I have mainecare and i have been approved for GB I will be having surgery in about 3-4 weeks, I should get a date any day. I was wondering if anyone knws if mainecare covers pannilectomy and what the criteria is, how I should be documenting and so forth.

Also are there any patients who have had Dr. Huy Trieu as a surgeon? He is the one that is doing mine.

Sorry, I really can't answer your question about insurance coverage, but I would think so, if it is medically necessary.  I am being covered as I have skin issues, boils, scars etc. 

Want to wish you the best with your GB surgery! Keep us posted on how you are doing!!   There are several people here that have or had Dr Trieu.  I had Dr Cobean, myself. He is a great surgeon as well.
