Seafood ?

Has anyone had trouble eating seafood since surgery?  I can imagine that lobster might be hard because it is tough to chew.  But what about other seafood?  Just curious.

I've only tried scallops and haddock and had no problems with either...
Milk & eggs on the other hand
Steak is getting better...but it has to be like a t-bone or porterhouse...
no more cheapy cuts of beef

Seafood is my "go to" food!  I just make sure any fish I cook is nice and moist and I don't do well on left over/reheated fish.  Everything else goes down well for me too (I'm one of the lucky ones!)  Just make sure it's moist and chew, chew, chew, like everyone else said!

I've had shrimp, scallops and lobster.  All sat well in the old pouch.  I didn't try the lobster tail as I treated myself and got it at Jesses and they picked it for me.  I asked for the softer meat and it was only 3 oz so they didn't mind.  Your surgery is getting close, you must be excited.  Becca told me she saw you into the Brass Compass.  If you ever want to go to the Y with me let me know.  I just signed up for a water toning class.  It was great and I didn't feel out of place at all.  People of all sizes were involved and I had a great time.  I hadn't had a suit on or been near a pool in 25 years.  I had a blast.

I just hope that I will be able to tolerate seafood when i have my surgery done as i dont intend on any other meats.  not big on red meat or pork.  As far as lobster goes, i would guess that the claw meat is easier to eat than the tail.

I am getting excited but I just got a call from the Anesthesia lady and she is waiting for some test results (that she won't get until the day before surgery) to OK the surgery.  How frustrating.  What time is the water toning class? That sounds like something I would like.

It is Tuesday's and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:15.  The instructor is on vacation this week and her replacement forgot about the class last night so the wonderful ladies who have taken the class befor showed me some "Moves".  There is still room if you want to join, you haven't missed anything.
