I got a fill last Thurs.  I have a "GREAT" restriction.  I'm actually pretty tight, but trying to give it a week or so and not jump to conclusion and have it taken out again.  anyway.  I am going to journal for a few days to make sure I get in my needed protein and water.  Anyone want to join me?  This is my plan for today.

B:  2 coffee's 7am-10:30
20 oz water 10:30- 12:00
L:  Protein shake (Fuzzy Navel)12:00
20 oz water
S:  cheese stick RF, ww ice cream, 1/3 c chili
20 oz water
D:  2c turkey chili and 3 slices of cheese (OMG) this was sooo good

water = 60 oz   protein =94  calories = 997

Well that doesn't help your weight loss. I thought it was very important to get some calories in first thing.  Sorry to hear that!

I understand that, but with the band, lots of us can't eat or even have protein shakes till after noon time.  the band tightens up in the am.  my hot coffee took me over 2 hours to drink.

that's why its important i figure out how I can get all my water and protein in.  i've tried something different everyday since thurs.  I'm doing good today.  You really need a plan when you have wls, no matter what surgery.  its so easy to get off track and i don't only mean cheating, but taking your vit, proteins, calories.  Its an all day process.  and sooo important to keep your health.  being thin don't mean crap.  you can be a very unhealthy skinny person.

I haven't  had surgery yet, so I don't know what you are going through, but journaling seems like a very good idea so that you can see a pattern of what did work and what didn't.  I wouldn't just write down what and when you eat, but exactly how you felt with each thing so that you can review it to see what worked.  Good luck!!!!

i'm not worried about eating too much, i'm trying to get in all my daily requirements.  so I need to plan ahead or i'll not get in what I need.

is that all you have for breakfast is a glass of milk?  is that good for your low sugar?  I know I have a coffee so not much better, but thats cause I can't get it down.  I finally seem to be able to eat around 7pm, boy thats a long day of not eating and when I do it hurts.  But I learned something tonight.  I took off my Bra.

My pouch doesn't like much in it in the morning either.  I've tried cereal and stuff, but I do better by mid morning.  If I plan ahead enough, I can sometimes do some of those little "bites" that Eggface has on her blog.....but that means I have to cook them ahead of time and I'm not always good about planning on the weekend.   My biggest issue is snacking in between my snacks...NOT good!
