I'm sure some of you will remember that last summer, when I went to camp with my mom and dad, mom and I went and picked a BUNCH of blueberries!  I froze them and have been eating them all winter with my greek yogurt!  YUMMY!!  They are those big, sweet, just plain YUMMY blueberries!     WELLLLLL...........I've RUN OUT OF THEM!!!!!!!!!  OH NO!!!!!!!  So now, I've had to break down and buy a bag of the frozen Wyman's (I think) wild blueberries........so sad........they are teeny, tiny and just don't taste the same!   I'm so sad!

BRING ON SUMMER and those big fresh blueberries and strawberries!  Guess I'll have to pick more than 20 pounds this year!!!  haha!

Thanks for letting me vent!  I needed that!

Yes I know the feeling.  My youngest is a big fruit boy and my MIL grows the big blueberries in her garden...we had some too but they did not last long in our house.  I use the wymans frozen as well to satisfy my fruity boy...he will eat them plain or in cereal, pancakes...you see where that is going!  Summer will be here before you know it.

Oh I think Hannaford sells their brand in  the bigger ones.

oh, Ruth i'm so sorry.  your lucky they lasted that long.  My DH loves Blueberry beer and at his favorite beer pub in Boston, near Fenway Park they surve the blueberry beer with blueberries, when we went a few weeks ago, they used small frozen ones.  and he said "Well, when I get my Kegerator, I want you to pick some of those big blueberries for my beer" haha, I guess I should bring him with me, don't you think.

It's a sad thing when the frozen blueberries are gone.
I am about 1-2 quart bags away from that myself.

Is it August yet?? Are the blueberries ready?     BUT the fresh strawberries are in the grocery stores. That will do for a while.

Let's have some spring first.

Oh my, you have me salivating just thinking about those blueberries with greek yogurt!  I'm so sorry that you ran out.  I hope you will be able to pick much more this summer.
