1 year follow up with the surgeon today

I just posted a blog on my profile about my visit.

Things went well and I think Dr L was pleased with my progress. I've lost more than 100% of my excess body weight and all my labs are good except for my ferritin being a bit low. I have to stay on the meds for this ulcer for a while but at least I'm not hurting as bad as I was a few days ago.

Things are good!

Hey Ruth,
It sounds like you had a good 1 year visit.. You are an inspiration to us all, you have done so well and should be very proud of yourself. You should be a poster child for wls... You go girl !!!!!!!!!! 100 % means you have no fat on your bod... wtg... Keep up the good work...

Oh......I still have fat........I've just lost the excess! haha!
And Cheryl.........it was weird when he called me skinny! I STILL think he tells everyone that! (as long as he didn't call me anorexic like my DH, it's ok, I suppose.......though I STILL don't see it!)
